The field trip of the Tri-State chapter of the West Virginia Native Plant Society on 5 June 2004 went to Yatesville Dam, Lawrence County, Kentucky This trip was along the nature trail at the marina is Located in off road # 1185. The trip was primarily in areas which had been modified in construction of the dam and related facilities. The south facing slope was quite dry and has an assortment of xeric species. However, the lake is also present increasing the humidity and providing aquatic species a home.
