    Aster lateriflorus (L.) Britt starved aster small white flowers at the end of stalks

        other Asters are also present

    Bidens cernua L.  Bur marigold (in damp areas,  ray flowers present)

    B. vulgata Green tall beggars ticks (no ray flowers present)

    Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq   horseweed

    Coreopsis major Walter

    Erechtites hieracifolia (L.) Raf.  Pilewort

    Eupatorium coelestinum L. Mist flower

    E. purpureum L.  Purple joe pye weed, (purple at nodes only, entire stem is
